Medical Microbiology has been considered as a purely laboratory bench science since the time of its inception, despite its certain and positive impact on managing a patient with infectious diseases. This vital science can be made optimally effective only when there is an amalgamation of laboratory bench and patient bed. The theme of this conference is therefore stated as “Microbiology beyond the Petri plates”.
The objective of this conference would be to discuss Clinical Microbiology to bridge the existing gap between the Medical Microbiologists and Clinicians with the ultimate aim of better management of infectious diseases in various health care settings.
The expert speakers would comprise of eminent microbiologists, scientists and senior infectious disease practitioners who are specialists in their respective field from across the country.
